Today, Oregon produces 17% of the country's hops just north of our brewery, allowing us to source this key beer ingredient from farm to tank in less than 1 hour. In 2009, Hop Valley unveiled Alpha Centauri, its first Imperial IPA, to celebrate the brewery’s 100th batch of beer. The beer became an immediate hit and quickly evolved from a specialty one-off creation into one of Hop Valley’s year-round offerings. Hop Valley uses an abundant amount of 5 different hop types to deliver a robust flavor profile having floral, pine, and citrus qualities This Imperial India Pale Ale (IPA) from Hop Valley Brewing Company delivers what hop lovers look for in a beer: Notes of Pine, Resin, Citrus, Grapefruit, and Caramel Malt.
