Give Back
Metro Market wants to make a difference in the communities we serve. We believe passionately in giving back to the neighborhoods and towns that support our stores. In addition to our formal community support store programs, we are actively engaged at the local level serving community groups and non-profit organizations through a variety of activities.
Shop with Scrip is now RaiseRight
As another option for organizations, our division has a long-standing partnership with RaiseRight (formerly Shop with Scrip) to help support organizations, groups, and teams in our community. Through this partnership, your supporters can purchase store gift cards for their shopping and up to 4% for your organization. Please visit www.RaiseRight.com for details.
Charitable Donations (Non-Foundation)
We make every effort to support specific needs, primarily in the area of hunger relief, within our local communities. To that end, our store directors may be able to consider a small monetary or in-kind request. If the request is beyond their ability to give, they may refer you to the corporate office for consideration.
Requests to the corporate office must be submitted via The Kroger Co. Community Donations page. Click here to visit the page and select the store you would like to request assistance from. You may only submit a request to one banner, any duplicate requests will be removed.
All requests must be submitted a minimum of four weeks before anticipated donation.
All requests must be from a 501(c)(3) organization to be eligible for consideration.
Like every organization, we have limited funds and are not able to respond favorably to every request. Also, the company cannot fund individuals, deficit reduction or operating reserves, trips, tours or student exchange programs, or fund drives conducted by religious or political organizations.
Roundy's Fund
With the merger of Roundy's and The Kroger Co., the assets of the Roundy's Foundation have been merged into The Kroger Foundation and the Roundy's Foundation is now known as the Roundy's Fund of The Kroger Foundation.
The Roundy's Fund goals are to enhance the quality of life in the communities in which we live and do business by focusing its giving in the area of hunger relief.
Primary emphasis will be placed on organizations and programs within the territory where Roundy's has a significant business presence and in communities where Roundy's employees live and work. Organizations must have an Internal Revenue Service 501(c)(3) tax exemption certification.
